Would these shoes make a perfect gift? Or COOL ENOUGH?

Whilst browsing from my phone as usual, I suddenly remember that it was my brother’s birthday next week. What I also remember besides that was the fact that I have received a necklace, latest from Tiffany, from him, on my last birthday. So basically, you know the burden I’m feeling. Not that my brother is expecting something in return, but, I think you would understand that sometimes, you need to exchange favors just to keep that sibling-relationships more healthy. Sort of stuffs like that. Really runs in the family.

So, what I did is I googled a specifically famous brand of men’s wear and after entering each of the results, viola! I came across with this pair of shoes. But what has really gotten my attention was this site’s webpage layout.

As I scroll down, I noticed thumbnails of other perspective views of the shoes that when clicked, shows you a larger picture of the product on that angle.

It was like inside a department store when you try a pair of shoes infront of a mirror, posing at different sides, trying to figure out if it suits you.

When you scroll down some more, you’ll see a brief description of the product, the sizes to choose from and of course, the price.

Further below are links to pages confirming your intention to purchase or getting in touch with them -if you need to know more details. So simple. That single page has got the “need to know” basics that a potential buyer must apprehend. C’mon.. not a lot of people are into the product’s history, when was it manufactured, or if that edition of Nike was once worn by MJ. Sounds cool… but folks just want to know practically the basics. The site’s name? MAINLINE MENSWEAR.

MAIN. Living up its name, eh?

As I continue to navigate the mobile site, I discovered that it also sells other pop brands. Adidas, Armani, Hugo, Ralph Lauren, Lacoste, to namea few. And it’s not just shoes they are selling. On the CATEGORY link, you’ll find jeans, t-shirts, jackets, watches, jumpers, accessories… WOW. Men’s wear indeed.

It was all packed into a orderly-designed mobile site. It was like an organized online community forum or a beauty brochure mag. Easy nauigating through pages. Unlike other sites that you sometimes wonder what you’ve clicked on the previous page and you realized that you have not landed on the page that you intended to.

The burden that I am feeling a while ago has disappeared as I enjoy the walkthrough at http://m.mainlinemenswear.co.uk . Now, I got a lot of choices for my brother’s present. Shopping is definitely fun to do. Ordering via my phone provides a lot of ease- ease as I do this while lying on my bed. Now that is COOL ENOUGH.
